Ty Evans:  

with a bunch of life's lessons and friendships that I still have to this day. I will always remember WTGP and my radio show: T in the evening, the Ty Evans Show, “some like it hot, some like it cold, some just like it”. Who could forget The Knights of the Round Table (Mike, Mitch, Skip, Sam, Charlie). And last but not least Thiel's football team and those famous shouts from the bleachers of Greenville high, "When are you going to win a homecoming Wayne" Workplace Outside of working for the Government I really haven't had many other jobs. I guess that is why my friends would always ask me when was I going to get a real job. Military From Fort Hood Texas in 1985 to Fort Riley Kansas in 2006 I had a pretty good run. Can't say that I loved every second or even every duty station but I survived it. I even survived the 36 one month combat tours called recruiting; thank goodness I was stationed in the Steel city of Pittsburgh. I loved the city and the people there but I hated recruiting. I love to travel and when I was overseas and I took advantage of it to the tune of 22 different countries. It was like a second education going from the Pyramids of Egypt to the Dead Sea to the Leaning Tower of Pisa to Amsterdam and beyond.
