Tyla's Story
Life
My family and I have found a quiet little valley in the Santa Cruz mountains where we not only converse with nature but disturb the peaceful symphony going on around us with loud parties and energetic children! Kyra (8) is the incredibly talented and smart motherly figure to her two younger siblings, Talia (6) is the highly energetic and creative trouble-maker and Slade (4) is the handsome Flirt, women love him! (Sound like a familiar family trait, or what?!) I am desperately trying to find time to work on my novel and do my homework from a writing class I continually take at Cabrillo College. "The City of Darkus" will hopefully be a household name some day!
My husband, Mike, keeps getting promoted within BFI, the company he has worked for since we moved up here in September 2004 and could not be happier. They revere him. He's happy, we're happy he's home by 5 every night. What could be better?
My parents visit us at the least once a month or we go down there to Carp. The four to five hour drive is not so bad but far enough to keep the demons at bay!
I have taken on the daunting task of setting up our twenty year HS reunion this year. The Reunion of Frien...Expand for more
ds parties I put together in 2003 and 2004 will now come in handy when tracking people down. Check out the pictures in my album on this site. Great parties! I plan to continue that tradition of "killer party hostess" for the HS reunion party in August. Ever in the area and want to say hello... e-mail me at nataleclan*comcast.net.
Wishing you all only the best life has to offer. Never settle!

School
College has actually become fun for me! Yeah, I know it sounds crazy. I dare you to have three kids and not enjoy the time out of the house with only adults though! It is a rare treat and now that I have found an english teacher who has inspired me to write beyond my expected potential is amazing. I am working on a fantasy novel called "The City of Darkus" about Dark Fairies who are rude, crude rogues and outlaws. The perspective is from the children born within this thornbush covered compound who are trying to escape and join the jovial common fairies they have recently encountered for the first time. It's going to be good! I'll post when something comes of it... Wish me luck!

I met my husband here fifteen years ago, so it couldn't all be bad!
