Ursula's Story
Well I dropped out of school in the fall of 1985 at Dearborn High because my mother got very ill with stomach cancer my father and me took care of her until she passed in Feb 1986 and I went and got my GED a few years down the road in 1993 I got my GED and I was working between that time sometimes two jobs and I had a son when I was 22 there was some struggles along the way of course and I went onto college at Detroit College of Business in 1995 continued to work and raise my son with his father I moved around also from Detroit to Dearborn Hts and back to Detroit and then in 2003 I moved to Oklahoma to ge...Expand for more
t out of the rat race to live a simplier life and raise my son in a better environment and be around my mother's side of the family and get to know my Native American side better because my mother's side of the family were always there for me even though there were many miles between us. I went onto school down here in Oklahoma and finished and currently work as a nurse for the past 6 years and I live a good life with family around me and found God again in my life I couldn't ask for better. After my son graduates in May 2009 I plan to move to New Mexico or maybe Florida for another adventure in my life.
