I'm a workaholic, but trying to reform. I do know how to relax, just don't have the time. I love to go horseback riding but don't get much time to. I love to swim, but I don't have a swimsuit or a body to go along with one any more. I love to travel and site-see, but don't have the time.
Most of all, I love God and Jesus and want all my family to too.
And I love cheesecake.
I grew up in Ft.Worth, Texas, where I met my husband. Moved to Bryan, TX and went to Texas A&M- graduated in 1996 in Biomedical Science. Married Bob Barker and began our family of 3 boys. Went back to work in 1984 as a vet tech and went back to school to eventually graduate with 2 more degrees, including my DVM degree. Practiced for 2 years in north Dallas with now retired, Dr. Lee Leissler, then did relief work for several years as I started a small animal practice from home. Relocated to an established facility downtown Denton, Animal Medical Center, and eventually moved this practice back home Jan 1, 2009.
I have 3 grandchildren, Ryan, Merrilee, and Klover, and I love them all dearly...it IS true....grandchildren are God's reward for not KILLING YOUR KIDS.".
