It's been an amazing ride. While I was attending EKU studying nursing, my mother died. That was the most transformative day in my life. I dropped out of college and ended up leaving Kentucky - which I absolutely loved - and moving to Illinois to be near my family. There I finished my nursing studies and became a Registered Nurse. I married and had two children, a girl and a boy. Due to my husband's career choices, we moved frequently. Since graduating GRC, I've lived in Illinois, Iowa, Colorado, Washington (state), Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Oregon.
