Valerie's Story
Life
Attended Aviation High, close friend to Lynette. Knew of the McMahn brothers. I lived on Pinkard Avenue, but I grewup on Bataan Road where the kids were king of the road. My best friends were Scott & Lynette and I believe we did everything together from K-high school. We hung from the trees in Scotts frontyard and built forts in both mine and Scotts backyard. We all danced in his mothers "School of Dance" and loved it. Then Scott and I moved away from Bataan Road. I to Pinkard and became good friends with Toni McMorris, Cary and the entire Pinkard Gang. Married Ernie Takash and left school early continuing my education in adult education. Marriage ended after 5 years, no children. Re-married with 3 beautiful daughters moved to east Long Beach. 27 year marriage and I'm a single woman currently living back close to Aviation High (my roots one might say).
Yes I still sing a lot. Now it's Karaokee and I love to dance, long walks on the beach and I still get that deep dark tan. Ha...Expand for more
ir isn't as long as it once was, just kept getting shorter for some reason. Eyes remain that special light blue. My youngest daughter has my eyes.
Because of a condition I have much of my high school memories seem to have faded away. I would love to regain them. Please, any of my school friends who remember me, please contact me. I've been away for so many years and would love to see all of you again.
3 beautiful daughters, one left who is currently in high school. I'm 53 now and I'm looking forward to traveling and getting back to where I can just enjoy the simple life and get back to having time for friends again.
Tana is living in Arizona with her new husband. Terra is living in Jackson. Charles in Alaska. My mother passed away over 7 years ago and we do miss her. Dad is living in Visalia and is doing well for himself, although I travel monthly to look over him and his new wife there.
God is good and has seen me through many a trial. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again.
