More about Valerie:"I have to say that I work in EMS, and I have seen people pass away in MVA both young and old. But to have your own child killed in an MVA is a whole different world. vorite thing is my family.
I am a mother of 3 great children Daniel; whom we lost at the young age of 19. It is going to be 5 years on May 24th since he was taken from us, but he left behind 2 great gifts named Jaden and Gavin. So we have all of them to be thankful for. Our daughters Sandy & Sam; (both in college) who love to drive us crazy! Of course there is our granddaughter; Lianna... cute as a button! Next in line is Sam & Lance's new addition due in September... I hope Daniel is watching all of this crazy activity from above, it is a bit challenging to keep up with all of them, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love being a mom/grandmother even though I think they all lay in bed at night a dream up new ways to torment me on a daily basis :-) Losing Daniel has taught this family that your life can change in a heartbeat, so I work very hard to try and appreciate the little things that I didn't always notice before. You just never know when it is going to be over. Family is what life is all about. Never walk away mad, never hang up angry, never go to sleep fighting..... What if you never get the chance to say youâre sorry???? Trust me I know.".
