Valerie's Story
HELLO CLASSMATES........ After graduation I moved back to NY and graduated from Pace University w/ BS in 1979, the same year I had my first daughter, Krizia. I was a paralegal for NYC for 6 yrs and had my 2nd daughter, Asia. Eventually relocated to California, where I now call home. Gave birth to a 3rd daughter, Morgan later in life. She is a Senior in H.S. and will be in the class of 2012. After my stint as a paralegal I used the business part of my degree as an accountant. .For the last 20 years my career has been in property management, residential housing. ob and enjoy going to work everyday. God called me to ministry 10 yrs ago. And has been ever present in me. Eventhough, I am currewntly a widow I am the happiest I've ever been. I am so satisfied with life; living life on life's terms with reasonably good health. Alabama gave me the opportunity to be a child; unlike NY. Abrams help me to identify my early strengths. I speak to children about their future; I speak to women about their struggles and I embrace the leadership of men. God is not done with me yet. I have vivid memories of our time spent together at Dunbar as well as Abrams. Thank you for reading about me . I hope to see some of you at the next class reunion. Be blessed and stay encouraged....
