nd Thomas are married to very beautiful young women. John William and his wife Leslie are expecting their first child in July. Thomas and his wife Amber have given Lamar and I a very special grandson Noah. My son Jared, who is in the Army, surprised us and came home for Christmas holidays. He left today to go back, everyone please pray for his safety.
God has truly blessed me with a tremendous family. He knew my heart before I was ever conceived and knew that I desired a large family....
I have been married to Lamar Burkett for almost 30 years (I believe I deserve a medal, LOL). We have had 12 foster children, we adpoted 5 of them, and we are guardians of one and have one special visitor.
Lamar and I feel very strongly about the safety of all children. We are strong advocates for the BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD when it comes to the children that come into foster care....".
