Valerie's Story
Life
I went to OHS from 1976-1980. My greatest memories are those from band (and Jody, who was the honorary band librarian?)....I loved it!
I went to KU and was in band there as well, but when I think of my "fun" band times, I think of OHS, though I met my husband in the KU band, I guess that should count for something :)
I became an elementary school music teacher and have done that now for 23 years. I taught in Leavenworth, Ks. for 6 years and then my hubby...Expand for more
's job moved us to Houston, Tx., where I taught for 10 years. We are now in the Columbus, Ohio area (thanks to my hubby's job again) and I have been teaching here for 7 years.
We have two kids, a 15 year old daughter and an 11 year old son. Our 3 cats and 1 dog, I guess round out our family, oh, and I can't forget the firebelly toad!
That's about it for me. Seems like forever that I've been in High School and would love to hear from others that were there.
