Valerie's Story
Life
It's probably no big surprise to anyone that I ended up working in the music field. Music has been my passion all my life. But most people, when they hear that I'm not fronting some punk band, or running an alternative music record label, but that I'm hosting the classical music program on Jefferson Public Radio, can't quite believe it. lived on an island in Alaska for the next 13 years, and finally ended up close to home. I currently coordinate the Northern California operations of JPR from Redding, CA.
I have one amazing daughter, and weird as this might sound, when I became single again, I ended up back together with my original junior high school boyfriend. It's as if my life has gone full circle, and I'm back where I began.
