Valerie's Story

32 years later and still living my dream! I have a wonderful family. I have a great job. I am singing, dancing, and loving life.
My family: Husband Mike, 8 year old son, and 19 year old daughter - they are all amazing! My brother, sisters and parents are still around and moving through life with love as well. We are blessed with great friends and new family members.
My work: I continue to teach in the public school system. I have been doing this here and there since I started teaching at Flagstaff High School. These day I’m teaching 7/8th grade Social Studies and it is FUN! The kids are amazing! They are full of energy and we seem to all like each other so much. I’ve enjoyed teaching 7/8th grade students, they have taught me so much about kindness, joy and endurance. High School was fun but I fell in love with these 12-13 year olds. One day I may return to college when I am older.

reatest moments in life: My children, My marriage, My career-Teaching/coaching at Flag High, Teaching/coaching at Cactus High School. Coaching with legendary coach and Arizona Hall of Fame coach Jim Graham; blessed to be a part of the back-to-back state championships there & living the teaching dream today.
I have learned so much after high school, 32 years worth, and I would not change anything at all. Life has been, and continues to be, wonderful to me. Amazing people around me and amazing experiences make it impossible to be unhappy.
I hope you are doing wonderful my friends and that you are happy today. I am not on facebook, and I do not have the desire to join after all these years…..sorry, so you can try to reach out to me via email if you would like to say hi. I do visit your facebook pages (when family allow me on their page) to see how y’all are doing.
Wishing you well everyday!
