Valerie's Story
I kind of flew under the radar at Claremont so I don't know of many that would remember me. But then again, there was the year long band program coupled with English (what a crazy but fun English teacher we had). I played flute in Concert and Sax in Stage Band. vival training. Thinking back, it's pretty amazing those teachers gave up so much of their personal time to introduce us to the outdoors. Mr. Bryant the American Lit teacher also gave up a lot of his personal time for us. Of course he didn't appreciate me skipping once a week to take sailing lessons in Oak Bay and, in his own subtle way, let me know I was busted.
