Valerie's Story
Life
I have 2 kids, Amber who is 31 & Casey who is 22. Their father passed away in 1994. I have one granddaugher, Bobbi Jade who is 9.
I'm still working at Gap Inc Direct. We support the phone lines and email for gap.com, oldnavy.com, bananarepublic.com, piperlime.com and athleta.com. I've been with the company for 8 years. Im also on the Board of Directors at a rehab center in Auburn, CA.
I've got a 2007 Mustang, which I love. I've been clean & sober for 9 years. Life is good.
School
13 schools, but I graduated! Raised hell everywhere I went, pretty much. Lots of good times, but if it wasn't for flashbacks I sometimes wonder if I'd remember any of it! Ha! Just Kidding! Sort of! The 70's are a little blurry though. The stories are WAY too numerous (and risque) for here! I wouldn't do it over again, did it too well the first tme!
Hobbies
I play WoW.... yes, as in World of Warcraft. It is a MMORPG (mu...Expand for more
lti-media online role playing game) sort of like the old Dungeons and Dragons, but way cooler. So, I'm basically a geek! LOL...
College
Tried it for awhile, got bored.
Workplace
I've had many careers. From waiting tables, to working at the Sunrise Mall Movie Theater (remember back when?), to working in the Forest Service in Oregon. I trained thoroughbred race horses for 10 years, won a lot of races, had triumphs and heartbreaks, ran a boarding stable, wrote a racing column for a small town newspaper with my own by-line,worked construction (setting and tearing down modular school rooms), taught Outdoor Science School in the San Bernadino Montains for the Orange County Dept of Education, and now I work for The Gap Inc., where I've answered phones and emails, been a Trainer, a Quality Assurance Specialist, and a Supervisor.
Whew! Guess I still really don't know what I want to be when I grow up! Hahahaha!
