Valerie's Story
Hello everyone! I can't believe it has been so many years since we graduated. After graduation, I went to Alaska Pacific University and earned a degree in management. I went to work at the Hotel Captain Cook as an auditor. I had a daughter in 2000 named Gabrielle Rosalee. All of my family had moved to Tennessee, so after I had Gabrielle I decided to move there also so she could grow up around family. We live in a small town called Morristown...Expand for more
. It is a lot different from Alaska. It is hard for me to get used to the heat.I met my husband in 2006 and we were married in 2007. He had a son the same age as Gabby and his name is Eric. My husband and I develope subdivisions and build houses. We came back to Alaska in 2007 to visit and I was shocked at how much it has changed. It sure was nice to be home again. Even though I live in Tennessee, I will always consider Alaska to be my home.
