Vance Ross:  

Compatriots on the journey, 38 years ago I left Bluefield never to be a full time resident again. it has been an interesting time to say the least. I have been gifted beyond my capacity to express. I am grateful to God. I married Bridgette D. Young Ross on 20 October 2011. She is a gift and a wonderful companion on the journey. Also and ordained United methodist elder, she serves as Assistant General Secretary for Collegiate Ministries, General Board of Higher Education and Ministry. She is brilliant, kind and a beauty. I do thank God for her. I have three children (Kristina-35, Alyssa-28, Bryant-26) and two grandchildren (Christopher-14; and Jaylie-12). Kristina lives with Christopher and Jaylie in Charleston, WV, She works for the County Court System. She is a great mother and works hard to keep the kids together. I am amazed at how she comes alog as a single mother. Alyssa is an area supervisor for the YMCA Fun Company. An honor graduate at Tennessee State, she is also now contemplating graduate school. She is independent, my pretty baby and oh so smart! She loves music and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He love of music, her sensitivity and her willingness to stand and live in the world make me very proud. She is quite a woman.
