Life On January 15th, 1981, a beautiful little girl was born in Anaheim at martin luther king hospital into this world at 7:30 am in the morning to in Todd and Arlene Burns. When I was 2 my grandfather accidently dropped me, and little nessy broke her right arm and this is when I became a "lefty". My grandfather, Walter, was devastated. From then on I spent most of my time next door with my grandpa and grandma watching cartoons in the morning and then Price is Right, Little house on the prairie, and some soap operas. During the ages of 4 to 8 I was so envious of my big bro. While Matthew was in high school he was the “star” athlete of the family. He was a stud and every girl wanted him or he could have every girl he wanted. One of the great memories I have of my childhood and is when I used to pester my brothers friends, most of the time it was the cheerleaders or girls calling to talk to him. They would say, “is matt there?” and I would say no and just hang up. Then I would be beaten up by my big brother, I will never forget. Another thing they would do is lock me into my room and I would just cry to have them let me out. Then his friends would just laugh and I would start to cry more. And then another traumtic exprience i had was when i was in fairmont high school in the 11th grade when people accused or spread a rumor that i was gay.
