Velma's Story
I live in Redding and was working at the Shasta County Office of Education for 33 years. I retired in 2007 and am loving every minute of it. I've been happily married(second time)for the last ten years. I spend most of my time working on genealogy and reading. Took several trips to Massachusetts to visit family. ally awesome! I love to travel but haven't done much of it lately. Hope to see a lot of friends at the next reunion.
2021 Update: Lost my husband to age and dementia 3 years ago. I cared for him for 5 years before his death. I am beginning to do more traveling now, which is something I love to do. looking forward to our 50 year reunion even tho' it's a year later due to Covid.
