Velma's Story

Went to college. Went to college again. Working at NASA (my dream job) but I've always had a side gig. Went back to college backwards (did my dissertation -- but somehow forgot to take the Ph.D classes). Retired in 2010 then went (back) to work for NASA without a boss. my kid. *sigh... Keep in touch with some of the Parkdale gang. Looking to reconnect with others. Retired again (mimicking that perpetual college habit)... Trying to organize a band/chorus reunion. Failing miserably at this point... Aging (kicking and screaming LOL). Life's *still* good. Despite the pandemic.
