Venita's Story

Looking forward to reconnecting to everyone at the 50th class reunion. What to say? Hmm... I received a BA in English, History and Art, then went on to receive an MA in School Administration. I've been married for 42 years to David Ellick, who I met through my cousin in Sacramento. We have three sons, three wonderful daughter-in-laws, and two sweet, but sassy granddaughters (ages 2 & 6). I've worked in public relations, as an elementary teacher for 6 years and as a principal for 12 years. I left the principalship to pursue...Expand for more
a career in writing. I've now written three novels and am working on my fourth. My first novel, "The Reluctant First Lady", is being released on Sept. 3rd, 2013 and can currently be purchased as a pre-sale on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Barnes and Noble in Walnut Creek is hosting a book signing for my book on September 8th, the day after our class reunion, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Stop by on your way home, or out of town and say hello. Again, I hope to see as many of you as possible at the reunion. Until then... Venita
