Venus's Story
got married to Paul (my prom date)shortly after highschool, 2 kids followed. Was a stay at home mom for about 15 years then hubby and i started our own contracting business.
My son is 23 and is engaged to be married in May of 09- He has served in the military (Navy)as an IT and recently got his associates degree in Information systems and currently works as an IT in a downtown Pgh lawfirm. His fiance graduates with a nursing degree this december
My daughter is a senior in highschool -Carrick of all places :)She is my little punk rocker chick who is a joy to be best friends with. She wants to be a beautician while mom thinks she should major in something that pays better :) We go to tons of concerts all the time- heavy metal, screamo, punk, Ska and some other types of bands. One proud mama moment of mine was watching my baby stage dive into a crowd during a concert!~ Go Jessi! She was crowned carrick class of 2009 Homecoming Queen this week!
Have a 10 year old german shepard that we've had since a pup.

During my stay at home years, i was very active in my childre...Expand for more
ns schools/lives. I handled all the fundraising efforts and fun days for several years at Bon Air Elementary. I ran cub scouts for a year and I even ran a youth group for awhile (imagine that!!) LOL
recently became a diabetic- it sucks!
recently had to get bifocals -acck- must be getting old
just celebrated 24th wedding anniversary.. hubby and I are still best friends
family outtings- we like to camp. We have a pop up but i'd like to go bigger.
Me & hubby time; we like to dine out alot and we spend every free day we have in nice weather up at Ohiopyle laying on a hot rock relaxing....occasionally taking a dip in the ice water :) and if im feeling quirky, i may take a fast run down the natural waterslides up there...if im in the mood to get scraped up a bit.
We also love day trips to anywhere we can relax- water/streams/lakes a plus. Invite us- :)
We also fish alot down the river, up in Erie etc. A small boat is in our future- not so sure im into that- i get sick on boats, but guess if i want the bigger fish, its something ive gotta do :)
