More about Verbal:"THEVERBALARTEEST.COM BIO:
Da Vinci The Verbal Arteest is an emcee/producer from New Jersey in search of Hip-Hop’s crucifix so that he can give it a piggy back ride to the promise land. With his hard-hitting production, ferocious-flows and mind-bending metaphors, there is no wondering why The Verbal Arteest truly dislikes rappers who do not take the time needed to learn their craft. His two twitter campaigns: #RawTechnicalRapIsBack and #SmackYaLocalSwagRapper perfectly expresses the Hip-Hop brand that he represents.
In 2008 Da Vinci met grammy Nominated producer/artist Prophetbeatz and the two later formed the production company “aveNJerz Music Group” (The Audio side of “The Gift Media“). After co-founding “aveNJerz,” The Verbal Arteest started working on a series of projects that he dubbed his “Immaculate Conception” series. “The Coming” was released in 2010 and served as the first project of the series. Shortly after releasing the #TheArrivalMixtape, Da Vinci shot a video for his “Nasty Freestyle” and secured a BlockCityTV video interview/freestyle. The BlockCityTV videos, with over 1500 views landed The Verbal Arteest several showcase performances including The Industry Alternative showcase which headlined Gilla House recording artist “Ready Roc” There were reported to be 325+ in attendance that night. Footage of the performance is here. The Verbal Arteest did such a great job that he was was able to land another set at the upcoming “Taste Makers Convention” on May 20th, 2012.
The month of May has thus far been quite eventful for The Verbal Arteest. Deciding to start May with a bang, The Gift Media released their visual treatment for “Dance Thru the Fire.” Da Vinci, (with the support of the fans he has acquired via performances and videos) took second place at New Jersey’s first “Rhyme Calisthenics Challenge” and, as a result, was offered a position as a House Judge for the monthly event.
With a Nimi Hendrix directed video for Autumn Leaves on the way and his “Taste Makers Convention” set to look forward to, there is no doubt in Da Vinci The Verbal Arteest’s mind that he will receive his chance to show New Jersey and the world that #RawTechnicalRapIsBack".
