Verdell's Story
Life
I live in Marysville, Washington with my husband. We have 7 children between us (3 for me)(4 for him). We have 12 grandchildren and they keep us busy. I'm semi-retired from Verizon..I worked for them for 21 years and then was laid off in 2002. Now I don't know how I ever had time to work.
I crochet, read books, swim at the YMCA, and see the grandchildren and children when I can co-ordinate times with...Expand for more
their schedules.
My husband is still working, so we take small trips around the country. In July of 2005, we pan to visit some friends in Chicago.
Last year we drove through part of Montana, managed to hit a deer in Idaho, visited some of our children and grandchildren in Utah and went through part of Nevada. We did a bit of gambling and managed to come home with more than we spent!! It was a fun trip.
