Since graduating from Yoder High in '62, I went to Music Camp in Kansas for a full summer. Excellent experience. Then I went to college for 2 1/2 yrs. starting with Business and ending up in Elem. Ed. I ended up being an administrative secretary for about 14 years in Wis., Washington DC, Washington, Calif., and Arizona. I enjoyed moving around and living in different places. While I was in Washington DC, I belonged to a professional choir of 120 voices and sang in many concert halls on the east coast. Some of them were: Carnegie Hall in NY, Hoffstra Univ. in Long Island, the concert hall where the Boston Pops always played (can't remember the actual name), Kennedy Center in Wash. DC, Constatution Hall in Wash. DC, and many other concert halls in the DC area, Atlanta, GA, Miami, FL, Orlando, FL, and many others. That was the highlight of my music career. I did keep singing for special occasions up until about 10 years ago. Somehow, my voice changed and it doesn't sound so great now. However, I do work with the Music Dept. in our church.
