Vernon's Story

After Jackson I went to QC...finished in 78'. Went to Ann Arbor, MI to visit...got inspired. Went up to MSU..did an MBA in hotel & restaurant management...went down to Mississippi and worked in ministry for a few years.. Got married..moved up to Evanston, IL...wife did grad degree at NU...I worked in foodservice management...hated it..went to U of A (Tuscaloosa) did a Ph.D. in m...Expand for more
arketing...minored in applied statistics...daughter born down there...moved back to Chicagoland..taught at DePaul U. for a few years...moved here to Hudson Valley in 93'...got tenure last year.
My wife loves to sew and knit. I love to camp out and dance and play african drums..(oh, and talk about religion and philosophy). Our daughter is into figure skating (which, we can't afford..so, I have to do outside consulting to help pay for it.)
It would be neat to see some of you again. Anybody ever hear from Junko Williams or Steve White? :-)
