Vernon's Story
I don't remember much about high shcool but then I wasn't there much. They tell me I had a good time. I went to MSU after I graduated high school and actually earned a three year scholarship while there. It was fun and I actually enjoyed it. I then was commisioned as a 2LT and spent four years as an Ordnance Officer and threw in the towel at the rank of Captain and moved back home. stuff. I actually had to jump out the first five times I was ever in an aircraft. I finally got to land a few years later on a commercial flight. I now work as a Quality Assurance Manager at a plant that produces Basic Monolithic Refractories for the steel and industrial markets. That sounds important but it is really pretty boring like all factory jobs. My wife Angie is a school teacher and we have been married for 29 years and have one daughter who is 17.
