Veronica's Story

Life My life is an open book, or, rather, an open web site - gentlebirth.org. Basic facts: Got a BA from Holy Cross in math, worked for 3 years, moved to California to go to Stanford to get an MS in Computer Science, worked for 10 years, became a midwife and plan to drop in the saddle, changing the world, one baby at a time. I live in a fanatically liberal part of the world and am so glad I do. It doesn't hurt that the weather is about close to perfect, and I speak advisedly, having just returned from ten days on the East Coast for a family reunion. Unfortunately, the demands of my work and the distance make it too difficult for me to make it to the reunion. No, I don't think I'd want to do it all over again, but it's a fond memory. Craziest school memories would have to be about the yearbook staff and playing Sombrero. We sure knew how to have fun.
