Veronica Hernandez:  

During my school years I had the opportunity to develop friendships that have lasted long after graduating High school, I remember so many awesome moments that close friends and I til this day can sit back and laugh for hours, I hope to see my friends and class of "82" soon, there are many of you out there that I want to see again, we were at Mt.Vernon Elementary together and kept our contact close with one another, i hope that we can have another gathering and sit back and visit once again. Life has been incredibly challenging at times, I have had a great opportunity to enjoy it with my kids and family, my parents are still here with us and that in itself is beautiful. Carlos and Kimberly are persuing their education and their determination is awesme, Karla is my violinist and heading in a great direction, I am content, but yet to find the one person to wake up with everyday and live life with a smile............ Being happy is not as difficult as one may think, it merely takes, willfulness and acceptance of life and it's opportunities, I have someone i my life and it's new to me, meaning the happiness part and being accepted for who I am and not what I am expected to be. Many people come and go in life and some stay with us forever, if I could choose that special someone to wake up with and be happy, I wouldn't have to, I already know who that one person is, though he's not in any way available for me to ever make him mine, so I have to go on and that, I will......... My favorite childhood memory is one of the many times I was taken to Hart Park, I remember running around playing and hearing a newborn baby cry continuosly, i couldn't resist the feeling to walk over to the young mom that was having a hell of a time keeping the baby from crying and keeing an eye on the other little ones with her. I kept getting closer and closer to her and had the nerve to ask her if I could hold her baby, she looked at me like I was crazy, though she let me hold this tiny precious doll-like child, and to her surprise and mine, the...Expand for more
