Veronica's Story

Life My life has changed alot since high school. I've become a little less quiet and more confident since I was a teenager. I ended up moving out right after high school. I finally went to college in 1999. I am a medical assistant and internationally certified bone density tech. I worked at swedish for 7 years, then I needed a change in my career so I moved to the Minor and James clinic in mercer island. I've been there since the beginning of 2007. I was married for 6 years, some of you met him at the reunion but we divorced in 2008. I'm looking forward to starting this new life and am excited to see what is going to happen. My future is looking bright. No kids, so I have alot of freedom. School I actually loved high school even though I wasn't the most popular person. It was an interesting ride. one week after externship. I started working at Swedish Physicians in October of 1999. I spent almost 7 years there and now work for Minor and James as a clinical float. Anyway about me, I got married in July of 2001, but as of 8/07 have filed for divorce. Look forward to hearing about your lives, esp anyone in Mrs. Wilcox's am class from 2/99-9/99. Feel free to e-mail me. Love you all! Workplace Well I went from slinging pizza to the healthcare field. I knew I always wanted to go into healthcare, just not sure what kind of career I wanted. I am now a medical assistant, and I love my job. In 2002 I became certified to do bone density scans. I work in interal medicine with mostly the elderly. I hate the politics sometimes, but if you work for a big company, unfortunately you have to deal with it. But it pays the bills until I can achieve my dreams of becoming one of those TV chefs, ahhh someday......
