Vicki's Story

Life Hi Everyone! Ok... Im not going to keep repeating the same old thing... By now everyone who has looked at my profile knows that my family all works together at our Body shop in River Grove! LOL I'm married to my grammar school sweetheart; Larry. We celebrated our 37th anniversary this year. Unbelievable how fast the time has went by. We moved from Naperville to Bartlett 8 yrs ago... Love my house, love being close to the kids but really miss Naperville! OK.. Here's where I claim my bragging rites... Our youngest is Kristina Marie <3 she just turned 22 this month! OMG Where has the time went?? Kristina is a colorist as ASHA Salon & Spa in Schaumburg. She is still living at home (THANK GOD) and more independant than even I was at her age! Both our sons have children! That makes me a Nonni!! <3 My first grandchild, Gianna just turned 6 on May 24th and our 2 grandsons... AJ (Tony & Connies son) will be 5 on Sept ...Expand for more
27, Bobby or Jr (as he was named after his daddy and my late brother-in-law), will be 5 on Jan 24th. Bobby is also Gianna's younger brother and my youngest son Bobby's child. I cant express enough how very lucky we are to have such wonderful children... They are my life. I'm still the President of the Chamber of Commerce in River Grove and loving it! I have met many interesting people in the organizations I've worked with during my time with the Chamber. If anyone has a business you would like to promote, email me, maybe you can speak at one of my meetings. My Mom passed away in July of 1999 and I also lost my Step-Dad in Dec of 2000. Losing my Mom was like losing my best friend. Though family life has always been important to me, after losing my Mom, I had to grow up... WE really do create the memories for OUR children.
