Vicki's Story
Hi,
IF you attended Central High School in 1967, 1968, and 1969 then you know all about the famous "love-story" of Al and Vicki!!! We had our first date on April 2, 1967(Sophomores) and married May 18, 1968 (Juniors. We were BLISSFULLY married for 38 and 3/4 years! Al valiantly battled cancer for 4 and 1/2 years, but lost the battle in February 2007. I can truly say that I know what true-love is....I lived it for over 38 years! s has been the hardest thing in my life...to go forward without my Al. He was my "everything" for so long that it seemed I was left with nothing when he left me. It is beginning to get easier and I am beginning to look forward again.
We had a beautiful daughter who married and had 3 wonderful children. She teaches 9th Grade AP English and Literature at Central Freshman Academy.
I am RETIRED:-) Although, I find myself frequently being called in to substitute...I LOVE RETIREMENT!
