Vicki Davis's Story
Wow, I've lived in a lot of places since high school. I left MN in '73 and moved, kicking and screaming, to Madison, CT. Learned to love the new environment but boy, it took alot of tears to accept the move.
Graduated early from Hand and went back to Roseville, MN, to hang with my friends. Thanks so much to Debbie Strane and her family for taking me in for an extended period.
Started college at the University of VT - don't know why - and spent the final 2 years at UConn with a major in Business.
Moved to SC, AZ, NY, back to CT... Got married, moved to FL...
Ryan was born in '89. Moved back to CT in '91 right before Brandon was born. Separated.
Went back to school, graduated with a degree in nursing from Southern.

'95 as an RN in Neonatal ICU. Moved to Brandon, FL, got divorced, then I decided to become a travel nurse with the boys - went to Milwaukee to see the snow for 10 mos, to Columbia, SC for 3 mos, then Plantation, FL for 3 mos.
Planted roots in Clermont, FL so the boys could be stable for high school, just 20 mins from my mom and an hour from my sister Kris (here for about 30 years - yikes!)
Been here since '03, back at FL Hospital as an RN, enjoying traveling, family, friends, my 3 fogs - resumed romance writing (unpublished), became a Master Gardener, did some volunteer work, started an internet business - all at the same time.
Loving life, working hard, can't believe I'm dreaming of retirement - are you? Traveling often, look forward to more. Very active!!!!
