Vicki's Story
Life
Hey former classmates of Moreno Valley High--Class of '72. I found this site and thought it would be interesting to see if anyone I was friends with back then e-mails me back. I actually didn't graduate with ya'll as I moved to Guam (my dad was in the Air Force) the last few months before 11th grade was over. I've often wondered what different people from my classes ended up doing with their lives.
As for myself, I was married after I graduated in Guam and had my first child (a son). After coming back to the U. S. in 1975, I stayed in Sunnymead (now Moreno Valley) visiting with my oldest sister Debbie for a few months. Then from there, I went to Colorado Springs where my folks retired. I lived there for a few years and got divorced in 1976. I ended up getting re-married in 1977 to an air force guy from Ky. We went overseas to the P.I. for a while, them Oklahoma, then...Expand for more
moved to Ky. and then Illinois where I still live. In that marriage of almost 20 years, I had 1 daughter (Veronica) and 1 son (Keith), both grown now. We were divorced in 1995. Then in 1997 I met my present husband, Mike. We were married in 1999. We raise Paint Horses on our ranch (The Double Bar H Ranch). We have 16 at the present time, although we have 4 mares in foal. We also have 10 cats and 3 dogs (a Border Collie and 2 German Shepherds). My husband also works in security and has for many years. I had worked in the jewelry industry for almost 10 years when I quit back in 2004. Now I just enjoy staying home and taking care of and raising our horses.
I don't actually know if anyone will remember me after being "out of touch" for approximately 37 years, but it's worth a shot!! So if anyone remembers me, I'd be glad to hear from you. Take Care and God Bless You All.
