Life
My life hasn't been anything like I expected it would be.
I hated cold Illinois and excaped to sunny Florida. That was a good thing.
I was a middle school teacher for three years. ...Expand for more
It was a good way to get over my shyness. It also seemed like it would be great to have summer vacation for the rest of my life. It wasn't worth it. Now I own my own business. I do social work. I love my job.
I have it pretty good here in Florida. I live in a little house about ten miles from the Gulf of Mexico. I made a lot of great friends here. I still get homesick from time to time. But when it happens, I just turn on the weather channel.
