Vicki's Story
Hey Everyone !
WOW 1982 !! It seems like a lifetime !!!
Well, I have been happily married to my sweetheart Bill Baird (Montclair H.S -1980) since June 26th, 1982 (Yep, 10 days after graduation !) We have lived in Montclair, Chino Hills, Hemet, and now in the beautiful city of Lake Havasu, Arizona . Bill is a Mechanic and I am currently home as I take care of my Mother who had a stroke 4 years ago and lives with us. My occupation was a Floral Designer and on occaision, I still do Wedding work for friends and family . I have 2 Son's & 1 Daughter . Adam is 25, Matt is 23 and Kaitlyn is 16 . Adam married my beautiful daughter in law Nichole Carter in April of 2005, and that union produced our first Grandbaby Micah, in December 2006 . He is my joy !!!! I love being a Grandma (Nanny) . Adam & Nicki are going to be giving us another Grandbaby very soon and his name will be Seth - I cannot wait to love on the little goober !!!! Adam is a certified Polysomnographic Technician and is currently the Office Manager where he works. Architect after H.S., as he took 4 years of drafting at the H.S. and won 2nd place at the Arizona State Drafting Competition.Matt then worked for a kitchen design company, and some work in manufacturing, but is now currenty working at good ol' So. Cal favorite In-n-Out here and working his way up quickly ! Kaitlyn our baby, is currently a Junior here at Lake Havasu H.S. , and is an honor roll student. She plays on the travelling softball team, The Scorcher's, and last year went to the National Championship Games in Salem, Oregon and their team placed 13th out of 33 . She is a beautiful girl !! (I 'm not biased! ) Kaitlyn also works for In-N-OUT part time . Kaitlyn is praying about it, but would like to become a missionary when she graduates H.S.
All of my family serve at our Church - Calvary Chapel here in Havasu and love the Lord so very much !!! He has blessed us with a wonderful family and joy unspeakable . We have had a lot of tough times , but by His grace , mercy and love, we have stood steadfast in His ways . He is an awesome God !!!
