Vicki's Story
After highschool I spent 10 months in a missionary training school with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Tyler, TX...traveling to Mexico and New York City. It was a great time in my life. I then returned to Lindsay and attended College of the Sequoias (COS) for 2 years while working part-time. In 1990 I transferred to Judson College in Elgin, IL where I played on the Basketball and Volleyball teams and majored in Youth Leadership and Ministry. I graduated in 1992. I worked as a secretary at the college until April 1993. I then went to South Africa for 2 years to teach missionary children. That was a great time! ropose marriage to me. We then flew back together and were married in August 1995. For the next 4 years we worked (me as a secretary and he as a carpenter) to pay off school loans, etc. Then, being debt free, we applied to be missionaries through CMF International. We did an internship in Lexington, KY for a year and then moved to Mexico in June 2001. After studying Spanish in Guadalajara for 8 months we moved to Pachuca, Hidalgo and began ministry here. We have 2 beautiful boys named Benjamin and Matthew who are full of energy and bilingual (born in Mexico). In 2009 we started a new church that is growing quickly! We love life and work in Mexico! God is so good and continues to bless us daily! Seek HIM while He may be found!
