Vicki's Story
Life
Since graduation I attended Wayne State University and University of Hawaii graduated with a BS in Education. Opened a string of dance studios and got married. We danced all over the country opening for big name and enjoying the glitter life. After ten and half years and two children I got a divorce. Married again three years later and had two more children plus his children making 8. Now I have 16 grandchildren. I quit dancing, and now raise Barrel Racing horses. My boys are state champions in the Barrel racing circuit and my stallion is doing well in the Paint Horse circuit. I live in Lapeer taught Business at Dryden High School retired in 2006. A car accident took away my ability to dance, good thing I had a college degree. I have taught for community/private colleges but was with the public school...Expand for more
s for about seventeen years, before retiring. Been married to my second husband for 21 years. March (2003) my house burnt to the ground and I lost everything I owned, my family and I made it out with just the clothes on our backs. Very humbling experience. Now I have a new house and everything on the same property. Spending my retired years doing my part time photography business, Senior Pictures, Weddings, Family Etc. It is fun and refreshing. Will be moving in November to Liberty Ky, to start cattle/horse ranching all my children/grandchildren will be movng with us to start this new adventure together. We are very excited and positive this is the right thing for us as we have all wanted ths for about 10 years.
