Vicki's Story

Moved to Seminole in the middle of third grade (1957). Graduated in ‘66. Graduated from Abilene Christian College ( now ACU) in 1970. I have one son, Russ Horton. Other children include B J Smith & Jammie Smith. I have 4 wonderful grandchildren, 3 boys and 1 girl scattered from California, South Carolina and 2 in Texas. All too far away! ole 3 three years ago. I work half days at Gaines County Museum. Many of you will remember my former boss, Roy Lynn Barnes, Spanish teacher at SHS, retired. My present boss is Sally Hunt Davis, a native of Seminole. I invite you to come visit the Museum at 700 Hobbs Hwy. (the old hospital). I’ll offer you a cup of coffee & a tour or you can go it alone.

Ag-Oil day. Exhibit by Gaines County Museum, Seminole Division.
We are celebrating BASKETBALL with our seasonal tree at the Gaines County Museum.
Grandson, Dylan, running track, 400 & 1600 meter. 400 meter in 1:01...not bad for a seventh grader. Previously ran the 2400 meter & missed the school record by 5 seconds. More to come....
