More about Vicki:"As of May 2012 - Big change in my life! I have a new career at 55 years old. The best one yet for me. I'm independent and helping others.
Throughout my career I have wanted to help people in some way. For example, as a financial planner I wanted to help people achieve their financial goals.
As part of my work-life, I became a long-distance commuter (someone who works more than 100 miles from home and only goes home after the work-week). Ugh!!

cally and emotionally. I was far from the happy and athletic Vicki I had been for most of my life.
Some of you know my father. He is a caring man. Well, he told me he was part of the Take Shape for Life ⢠program and it included a free health coach for guidance and support. He said that he was concerned about my weight and its effects on my health. I agreed and called his coach.
So far, my Take Shape for Life ⢠journey has led to a loss of 35 pounds since February. There is still more to go, but I am on the treadmill again and feeling great!
I realized that my increasing happiness coupled with my desire to help people could be channeled in a very important way - weight reduction, better living, and life extension for others as a health coach.
My good fortune is to have found a company that has integrity, values, and a vision of eliminating obesity that align with mine. So, now I work with Take Shape for Life ⢠as an independent health coach bringing life-long changes to others struggling with obesity and its effects.
It's a big change in career for me, but I think it is one that will be very rewarding as I help others in the way I have been helped. I'll let you know how it goes as I coach others and move closer to my goal weight.".
