Vicki's Story
Finally retired and loving it!
Stopped working entirely at age 72 due to the pandemic when freelance writing work dried up mainly with Viking River Cruises because no cruises!
And did my last bit of acting in a Watchmen TV commercial that is still airing. I’m the senior lady running on a dock, missing stepping on a nail by inches and jumping into a pond!
These days I garden, volunteer at a food bank, write Get-Out-The-Vote letters and enjoy Los Angeles’ offerings: Geffen Playhouse, LA Phil, Hollywood Bowl, jazz at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, etc.
Have traveled to Scotland, Ireland, Morocco, Madagascar, Italy, Kenya, Germany, Hungary, and the cities of London, Paris, and Barcelona,

me for all my former classmates.
Here’s the past - After NHS, Phoenix Jr. College, Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and graduation from San Diego State University.
Worked as newspaper reporter at the San Diego Evening Tribune, and the Torrence Daily Breeze and the Los Angeles Times, receiving two Pulitzer Prizes as part of team coverage of the '92 LA Riots and the '94 Northridge Earthquake.
Active in the LA chapter of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalist Assn., St. Alban's Episcopal Church and NAWBO (National Assn. of Women Business Owners).
Left journalism in 1999 to run my own PR, sole proprietorship for a few years.
For 30 years, have been with my partner, pet photographer Diana Lundin, who grew up in Sierra Vista, AZ.
