Vickie's Story

Life Lots has changed in my life since St. Teresa's and Immaculata, but I think I am basically the same person I always was. After Immaculata, I went to MA for one year of college, went home for a year, moved back to MA in 74 and never left. I married, had two great kids. A son 28 and daughter 24. The youngest still lives with me and our dog. I divorced in 2002. I own my own home in a town South of Boston. I work for Harvard University as a program coordinator and have worked for Harvard for about 30 years. I was also able to finally get my bachelors degree that I started in 72 from Harvard Extension School in 2000. A little late, but I was proud of myself for finall...Expand for more
y finishing. Harvard has a great tuition assistance program for employees, but nothing for the kids. Boston is a great city. It has everything NY has, on a smaller scale. I do admit there is nothing as exciting as NY. I still keep in touch with a few people from NY and go back to the area every so often as my brother lives in Queens, sister in NJ and cousin in DE. So, I am now looking forward to the rest of my life. Kids moving out on their own, starting their own families, and me being able to travel more and spend time with my family, current friends and new ones I meet along the way. If you'd like to reconnect again and catch up on old times, send me an email.
