Vickie's Story
School
In school, I tended to hang out with the FORUM bunch or with Chorus people. I tried my best to be a "preppy", with mediocre results, at best. My mom had a daughter with Rich's tastes with a "Richway" budget (anyone old enough to remember Richway?) Fads fade quickly...who still wears Izod or Polo, anyway?
Chorus was a big deal to both me and hubby. We both had fun going to All-State each year.
Now, All-State is over as well as living vicariously through our kids' school experiences (including All-State, honor choruses, school musicals, etc) sin...Expand for more
ce both of them are grown now. :)
It's cool that both of them are musical like me and their dad, and are now living, experiencing and exploring life.
Now that I'm almost an "empty nester", I'm finding who I am again in taking time to decorate our new home, learning to paint (acrylics mainly), and basically just exploring my creative side in general.
My hubby and I like to go for rides in the country, stop at quaint barbeque joints, take pictures of weird signs (such as "Joe's Convenience Store- and Bait" or "Lurleen's Pamper Parlor"), and just "be".
