My husband, Steve, and our next door neighbor clearing all the drains in our neighborhood. Looks like it's not too bad on our street, knock on wood!

So this is the traffic this morning on only one freeway here in Houston due to flooding. These people left to go to work at 5AM....now please tell me how the Mayor would have evacuated 6.5 million people pre-Harvey??

Rainy was less than impressed about our family crab fest today. We had a wonderful early birthday celebration for my Mom.
Her birthday is not until next month, but we celebrated Mom's 88th birthday early with her favorite meal. Maryland Steamed Crabs!
This is my gorgeous niece, Julie, with her beautiful daughter, Ayla, 3 months old.
Thanks for all the Birthday wishes today. I enjoyed celebrating with my family. We managed to not start any fires with my blazing cake.
