Vickie's Story

Life-It is now August of 2008-My son has graduated from high school, and is now attending Shawnee State-Is going for a teaching degree-I am working full time for The Counseling Center. I thougt I would be bored after he graduated from high school so I went back to work full time! I love it!! Still live in Scioto County- Still a Minford Falcon fan, Cincinnati Bengals, Ohio State Buckeyes, and also a Florida Gators fan! Did I mention Nascar-I'm a Jr. fan!!- My favorite place to be-The beach or around the pool! I hope that everyone from the class of 1974 is doing well! Something you might not know about me now-We belong to church and enjoy serving the Lord! I taught sunday school for 13 years, and worked with childrens church. friend. Our son Kyle is now a senior in high school, I am not handling that very well! It seems like he should still be in kindergarten! He just turned 18 and that also is a big deal for me! I can't describe my feelings on him graduating or turning 18-I am sure all you mothers can relate to that! He is a great kid! We are falcon fans out here in Minford! Kyle played ball until a knee injury sidelined him!(Surgery) I hope that everything is fine with all of you! School I graduated from the burg in 1974, but went to several other high schools before the burg. I remember the snake dances the night before football games, and the fun we used to have! My favorite teacher at the burg--Mr. Schrader! He always called me Minford, because thats where I transfered from!Hope everyone in the good old class of '74 is doing well! would be nice to hear from some of you! vickie chandler pertuset
