Vickie's Story
Hi,everyone. I live in Tempe,AZ;have 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grand children. All are in the Phoenix area with the exception of Mahlon and his family. They're in Little Rock.
I'm working on a book....actually a fictional trilogy, one based on political thoery, and several childrens books. Still do some painting and music.
Got my Bachelors in Science, History/Political Science and my Masters in Computer Information Systems.
I'm a consultant for PeopleSoft student systems, which means I travel. I'm in Lincoln Nebraska Sun-Thursday and at home in Tempe with the crew Thursday night through Sunday morning for another year. Not sure where my next technical gig will be. I evaluate Legacy systems and business practices and set up a new PeopleSoft system for the client based on that analysis....plus assist the client in developing and stremlining business practices. I enjoy this a lot.....it takes all my years of higher ed experience and blends them with artistic design and logic.

ht/sound for shows as well as technical for setting up large rock shows, faculty at Phoenix Community College teaching Music Business, plus have 35 years in higher education including stints as a Registrar, Student Services Manager for Axia College (experimental college for at risk students through UOP), Asst Registrar for University of Phoenix, Asst to the Vice President at ASU, Manger/Director of Technical Services for Enrollment Services at NAU, etc., etc., etc. To this day, I go some places in the Phoenix area and I'm Viper, others I'm Crystal, and mostly I'm naturally Vickie.
So far I haven't re-married; just free to do whatever and follow wherever the winds of change take me. I'm blond now, too, so I can always blame any stupid stuff on a blond moment. Got a little heavier there for a while, but now that I'm on the road I can work out every night rather than babysit grandkids (not that I don't love that....they're so fun)I'm away from home, so steadily losing back down.
Have had a way interesting OMG life so far....never a dull moment. Haven't been back to the Harrison area in probably 20 years but have visited Mahlon and his family in LR recently.
