Vickie's Story
When I graduated from High School I decided to continue my education at YVCC and Trend Business College. I have worked at three places: Kentucky Fried Chicken as an assistant manager, Applied Industrial Technologies as a purchasing agent, and Cowin & Sons LLC where I am currently employed as a bookkeeper and have been employed there for 10 years. I decided to get married in 1991 and had two boys Lewis 17 and Ryan 14. Both of my boys are going to attend Wapato High School this year. Lewis will be a senior and Ryan will be a freshman. and I decided to get engaged in 2005 but sadly Bill passed away suddenly in 2006. My life drastically changed after that. But it taught me to become a strong and independent person. As Bill always said, everything happens for a reason. My boys and I have built up a very powerful bond. I am very proud of them for helping me to be strong and pulling together when times are tough. On November 28, 2008, I got engaged to my best friend and love of my life, Rick. I finally wised up and listened to my heart...and my dad. Fathers do know best. :) So right now I'm on a solid track and looking forward to a very positive future.
