More about Vicky:"I am just enjoyin each day to the max!!! I havent Been this Happy in a long, long Time.Thank you Dan for giving me the ability to smile again!! I love You Dan <3 We are getting Married March 13,2011 !! I am soooo happy ,we are definately soulmates!! I love working on the garden it keeps my mind busy!! I have someone in my life now that makes me feel very special and happy...A new beginning!! I am actually walking around with a smile on my face.My life has been filled with so much sadness and struggle. My Dad who had passed away Dec. 2009 was an abusive father. He was mentally and physically abusive. From Hitting with a belt to punching .I always had my share of bruises. He even hung me by my hair.He would tell me I was stupid, ugly,an idiot and he would have my Bros(whom I love dearly)make me play with them, even making me crawl around like a horse so They could ride on my back and if I didnt do it right they would scream and he would hit me.He never told me he loved me,he couldnt show any emotion. He was abused as a child so it just carried on with him.He took me out of high school in the 10th grade because he felt that women didnt need an education. So I basically felt ugly ,stupid and useless. But out of all of that I truly thank my Dad for giving me the survival skills that got me through life.My Dad and I made peace with each other several years ago and we would call each other on holidays and birthdays ,In his older years my Dad was like Gepetto (in Pinnochio). He was a gentle old man.Daniel Is someone who was my boyfriend when I was a teenager and at the time we were too young to have a ...Expand for more
serious relationship.I got married and had 3 wonderful children several years later and 5 wonderful Grandchildren who I cherish. My marriage didnt work out through no fault of my own.I have had a struggle throughout life and I met Tony,he was a good man and he took good care of me and I took good care of him. Tony passed away 7 months ago after his courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He spent his last days at home and I was there for him 24/7.He had a wonderful last day and I was glad to be there for him.I was so sad and felt lost.I was becoming depressed, walked around sad and crying over everything.I felt that I couldnt keep a smile on my face.I was totally becoming emotionless to protect myself from falling apart.I was with Tony for 12 years and his children treated me with no respect. His daughters Renee and Karen came to our apartment and took anything that was worth money, which wasnt many things and got rid of anything that meant something to their father, even the last chair that thier father had rested his head on.They had no respect for their father,so there was no way that they would respect me.Karen hadnt spoken to her father for 30 years and Not once did she call him when he was sick, but she was quick to go through everything in our apartment. His daughters couldnt even take 1 hour of their precious time to go and pick up his ashes. They had his ashes mailed to his daughter Renee by registered mail. Now his final resting place is on his Daughter Renees mantle (so they say).I have not heard one word from any of them. His son Rich talked to me a few times since he passed away ,but have not heard from him in 4 months. So my whole life was turned upside down.Dan and I were talking and we felt that it all came full circle. We make each other smile, laugh and feel that it is destiny that brought us together.I actually am smiling again and back to the Vicky that I have always been,I love life and always go by the motto "live life to the fullest.I see all the things in life that way too many people take for Granted!!Life flies by way to quick.Thank you Dan for making me feel so alive again and bringing happiness into my life!!".
