Vicky's Story
Since we graduated, I married, divorced and remarried to a retired USAF Ret. Lt. Col. who was working contract at Tyndall. He has since fully retired. Not only did I have 2 daughters of my own but I have gained 3 step-daughters, 3 step-son in laws and 4 step-grandchildren that I love and adore. I also have 2 grandchildren by my own daughters.
In my own career I have been in the education field almost since we graduated. I've been a teacher since 1988 mostly in the special needs field. I not only recieved my masters degree I also received National Board Certifi...Expand for more
cation and have been nominated by my peers as Teacher of the Year at my school (Cedar Grove Elementary) in 05-06.
In my religious journey I have been a Sunday School Teacher for 20 years, ran the church store for 3 years and belong to a wonderful ladies group (Circle of Friends). My husband and I also help with marriage preperation for people like us (remarriage).
The stories of my life ebb and flow like the tides in front of my home on Callaway Bayou with a few storms thrown in to try to throw me off course. But with God by my side my path stays true and strong.
