Victor's Story
Kicked around for about 10 years after high school. For reasons known only to God I became a Cardiovascular Technologist. Eventually became quite a good one but was beaten down by the move in medicine which was based on paper and not skill. That has taken place in the last few years. A degree from Harvard does not guarantee that you are any good. My drive during these last 25 years has been to make resources available to those without. of 3 Dr.s on legitimate grounds of danger/incompetence. Amazingly it is easier to get rid of a doctor on rudeness than incompetency!
Then, due to mounting physical problems I was forced to retire early. Which pleased many in the upper echelons of Kaizer Health.
I do get to come home to a wonderful wife, a dog, 3 cats (one of which has only 3 legs), and sometimes 1 or 2 sons. Then when I'm real lucky, I get some time out in my shop for some woodworking. No friends so don't have to worry about how they will remember me. That's pretty much my day.
