Victoria's Story
Even now, 1968 seems like such a loooong time ago..that's because it was! However. I wouldn't trade it for anything. So mcu history, and really good music! I went from teased hair to the "hippie" years, and then the grown up years of being responsible and stuffy. I tried my hand at wedded bliss, and decided that was not very blissful. I decided to go back to college and work for more education. I had enjoyed writing even in high school, and found myxelf enjoying writing short stories and poetry. I did poetry readings and taught classes in writing.

In the 70's I protested the war in Vietnam, in the 80's I protested anything that interfered with my ability to make money, and since then I protest everything from murdering animals to fouling the Earth. And, once more, I protest war. It seems I've come full circle. I have seen so much, lost so much, learned so much. The memories of the innocence of my high school days are foggy at best. I didn't join in the "cliques", finding more gratification in a few good friends. Now, it is hard to remember their faces, and I seem to have misplaced my yearbook. I do know that this getting old jazz is definitely not for sissies!
